India Couture Week 2023: Jahnvi Kapoor and Bhoomi Pednekar's Enchantment Captivated All Eyes

On the day 3 of the India Couture Week, 2023 being held in Delhi, actresses Jahnvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar walked the ramp for the designers Gaurav Kapoor and Varun Bahl, respectively. 

Although the ramp walk is surely not a cakewalk, both the actresses stole the attention of the spectators by maintaining their calm and getting rid of the nervousness before the walk, on Thursday. 

The 'Bawaal' actress showcased Gaurav Gupta's "Hiranyagarbha" collection at DLF Emporio. This collection draws inspiration from Vedic philosophy, particularly the concept of the manifested cosmos, and presents interpretations of the five elements: earth (prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni), air (vayu), and space (akasha), as derived from the universal womb.

The star wore a dazzling electric blue lehenga skirt along with a matching blue blouse. To enhance her showstopper appearance, she adorned a long cape that added a touch of drama and beauty. As for her makeup, she chose a minimalist approach, while her hairstyle featured wet styling, completing her glamorous look.

Speaking to the media after the show she expressed her joy for being turned up as a muse for the internationally acclaimed designer Gaurav Kapoor. 

Bhumi Pednekar turns showstopper for the magnificent designer Varun Bahl's 'Inner Bloom' collection. The collection celebrates flora and fauna with artisanal embroideries, including beautiful 3D flowers synonymous with the brand. The designs feature young and playful silhouettes, bringing a fresh, contemporary feel in vivid hues. The collection also offers dreamy and experimental bridal couture pieces, maintaining a strong emphasis on fine handwork for the modern bride.

Bhumi captivated gazes in an elegant thigh-high slit fishnet gold skirt paired with a bralette, exuding sophistication and grace in her stunning ensemble. The look was further enhanced with statement jewelry and floral patchwork on the outfit. Her allure was elevated by the bold smokey eyes and blushed cheeks. As for the hairstyle, she opted for a wavy touch to complement her flowing, open locks. 

After the event, she mentioned how she listens to music while making sure to drink water and just breathe and relax as her pre ramp ritual. 

Fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and Bhumi's sister Samkisha Pandekar were among the attendees at Bhumi's show. Samkisha turned out to be her biggest cheerleader.
